The Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) offers the written knowledge exam in multiple languages to accommodate the state’s diverse population. As of 2026, the Road Rules and Road Signs sections of the non-commercial knowledge exams are available in the following 14 languages: dds.georgia.gov

It’s important to note that while the Road Rules test is available in these languages, the Road Signs test and the actual driving test are conducted in English only.

For individuals with reading disabilities, DDS offers oral exams. If you require an oral test, please visit your nearest Customer Service Center (CSC) for further details, as each CSC has different days and times for administering these tests.
